The Bristol branch of the Bank of England was built between 1844 and 1847 to the designs of Charles Robert Cockerell, in a severe Greek Doric style. It is listed at Grade I. In 2015 it was included in plans for a hotel with the Guildhall next door.

Do you remember Broad Street?

A coffee and an email at NetGates in 1996, a haircut at Wild At Heart, brunch at Ironworks, or a desk in the offices upstairs: if you have a photo or a story about No. 51 or its neighbours, from any decade, we would love to see it.
